TESSA has strong community ties with the local individuals, businesses and partner agencies. Through Community Outreach, Volunteering, Donor Relations, Donations, and Fundraising; the development team provides information, awareness, and education around TESSA and the services we provide. We constantly work to uphold our mission and promote our vision to El Paso and Teller County.

Community Outreach
TESSA works throughout the Pikes Peak region – with colleges, businesses, community associations, judicial system partners, and faith-based organizations – to change the community conversation around DVSA, fuel social change in the forms of bystander intervention and collective intolerance, and highlight the reality that these are community-wide problems that deserve community-wide solutions.

Volunteer Opportunities
TESSA Staff works with volunteers and clinical interns to find the best fit within the agency. Volunteer and internship opportunities include a handful of options. Volunteers must complete the 36-hour Confidential Victim Advocacy (CVA) Training Colorado Statute of 13-90-107KI before being able to volunteer at our organization. Age 18 Required.

Donor Relations
We accept online, in-kind and mail donations. Any amount is a statement of your support in providing safety and encouraging self-sufficiency for individuals in our community who are recovering from domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking.
